ABOUT ABOUT

Dr. Michele Borba, is a sought-after motivational speaker, NBC contributor and
award-winning author of 22 books, whose expertise comes from a career of working with more than one million parents and educators worldwide. She is also a former teacher and mother of three.

Her soon-to-be-released book, Unselfie: Why  Empathetic Kids Succeed in Our All-About Me World, will be available for purchase at this free event, and a book signing will follow up her talk.  It presents practical and proven strategies parents can use to help their children thrive. Dr. Borba dispels the myth that grades, scores and IQ are the quickest road to achievement and happiness. Instead, the  “Empathy Advantage” and the skills it ignites, are what we really need to succeed in school, the workplace and relationships.  Event guests will receive practical tips they can put to use immediately with their JK-12th grade students.
